Academic Achievement Standards
Board Policy 10.005
- Satisfactory progress is defined as:
- Satisfactory/No Conditions - A student whose cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) satisfies the Academic Status Scale.
- Unsatisfactory progress is defined as:
- Academic Caution - A student whose cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) satisfies the Academic Status Scale but is below 2.0 and the credit hours attempted are fewer than 45.
- Academic Probation - A student who has attempted thirteen or more credit hours and whose cumulative GPA is below the required Grade Point Average as indicated on the Academic Status Scale.
- Academic Suspension - A student who has been on Academic Probation for at least two Academic Semesters or who has not met the conditions of his or her Academic Improvement Plan.
