Qualifications & Responsibility for Maintaining Qualifications
All Adjunct Faculty must meet minimum qualifications for all courses they are scheduled to teach, consistent with respective standards of the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and the College. For career programs, there may be specific additional credentials required. Additional qualifications may be established for positions with the approval of the Chief Academic Officer and the Director of Human Resources.
Adjunct Faculty shall remain current on developments affecting that Adjunct Faculty teaching discipline and shall incorporate such updates into the Adjunct Faculty’s teaching assignment. Adjunct Faculty shall promptly forward all updated official transcripts, and maintain and forward certifications, licenses, and other credentials and qualifications to their respective Division Office and the Human Resources Department for inclusion in their respective personnel files throughout their employment.
